Bud again in Germany: Premiere of a tv-documentation about his life

Bud was in Berlin again yesterday. This time he was guest at the world premiere of a documentation-movie about his life in a cinema called "Babylon". The documentation will have it's tv-premiere on March 17 at 21:50 in German television (The channel is called "arte", see arte.tv).

And I have some more news from Germany. Last friday was the release of Bud Spencers second book. It is a sequel from his biography and it's called "Bud Spencer - In achtzig Jahren um die Welt - Der zweite Teil meiner Autobiografie" (Bud Spencer - Around the world in 80 years - The second part of my autobiography). And again Bud Spencer will come to Germany to present and sign the new book. The timeline is:

Wednesday, 28.03.2012: Bochum
Thursday, 29.03.2012: Düsseldorf
Friday, 30.03.2012: Kaiserslautern

Hi again!

I am back in your forum and that means that Bud was again in Germany :-) As you may know Bud was in Schwäbisch Gmünd last december because they renamed the public swimming pool of the town to "Bud Spencer Bad". At this time Bud promised that he will come back for a second visit to the 850-year-celebration of the town and that he did last tuesday. And of course there were an new signing hour and a public discussion with Bud on this day in Schwäbisch Gmünd. The day after Bud went to Hamburg where he was guest at a talkshow. That talkshow was recorded last wednesday but it will be shown next thursday, July 17th, so you still have the chance to see the show. It will be shown in German television on channel ZDF in the late evening and it's called "Markus Lanz".

Bud will come to Germany again in November. He will be guest at four new signing hours from November 12th to November 15th. The German publishing house of his biographies will also present a documentation about Bud. The timeline is:

In november last year I posted some dates for a new presentation tour of Bud Spencer in Germany. But then the tour in november was canceled because Bud felt sick. But meanwhile Bud is fit again and so the tour started with six month delay on May 14th in Leipzig and ended four days later on May 17th in Potsdam, near Berlin.

You have a news on your homepage, that reports that Bud presents the second part of his autobiography on this tour, but that wasn't the main reason for his visit. For the presentation of the second part of his autobiography Bud was in Germany last year in March (see heyse-online.de/spencerhilldb/bud6_de.php for pictures). The reason for Buds new visit this time was the presentation of a 5-DVD-long-documentation of Buds life. The DVD-Set contains a long interview with Bud in his summer house near Rome, interviews with Buds wife Maria Amato and his three children Giuseppe, Cristiana and Diamante. Additional there a lot of pictures from Buds visits in Germany the last days, where he presented the autobiography, sung his songs in his office or opened "his" swimming pool in Schwäbisch Gmünd. Overall the documentary has a playtime of 10 hours! And by the way, all the interviews are in Italian with German subtitles, so maybe the DVD-set is interesting for you also.

Stigburt, a quick question in order to be sure, please: is the whole documentary in Italian (with German subtitles) or just the interviews?
I might not properly understood... is the documentary made entirely of inteviews?

Not all parts of the 10 hours are in Italian, but the main parts. At the interviews with Bud Spencer at home, with Cristiana, Diamante and Buds wife Maria the answers are completely in Italian with German subtitles. The questions are in German, but that shouldn't be a big problem, because the answers explain the questions. Furthermore the events at Schwäbisch Gmünd, Berlin and Paderborn are in Italian, too. At these events Bud is sitting in front of the audience and the interviewer and Bud himself are translated by a translater, so you can here the questions and answers in Italian and German. The interview with Giuseppe is in English and the interviews with the Germans Oliver Schwarzkopf (publisher), Oliver Kalkofe (Comedian and Bud fan), Markus Lanz (Showmaster) and Matthias Matussek (journalist) are in German of course. So I'm sure that you will understand the important and interesting parts of the documentary.
