Hi. I tried hard, searched in many languages (italian, german, english, czech), searched the name of song in youtube comments. But I didn't find anything. All I want is just a name of rock song that you can hear in movie A friend is a treasure (Chi trova un amico, trova un tesoro). You can hear it twice in this movie, when pirates arrive on island, and at the end, in another battle with pirates. This song isn't even in original soundtrack album.
You can listen the song there:
    www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=z_O...
    or there:
    www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=sXz...

I hope anybody will help. I found that somebody searched there this song many years ago, and decided to start new thread.

I heard all the songs from original album and the rock song isn't there. :(
Now I tried Shazam, the program to identify songs, but it didn't recognize it.
I really don't know where to search or what to do more, hope someone finally tell me the name of that song.. or try to search a bit too..

Damn...I also want to get that song but actually seems impossible to find out what his title is.
I'm afraid that was not intended as an official soundtrack theme but just as a simple bgm used for a couple of sequences and so it's not credited anywhere.I was sure every song used in a movie, whatever long or short, must be credited but I was wrong...

    I afraid you're right :(

The only way I see is to wrote an email with request to a director or
screenwriter of that movie :D or musicmaker or somebody, if he still lives :D and pray the god :D
There are really good fans, I believe, that someone has contact to somebody of them?
Is there anybody so helpful to spend so much effort ? :)

Are you talking about us? I don't really know if someone of us knows some addresses of something similar.Ask to long-time members of this forum.
Or you can try to read the credits of the movie and search for the names of writers and thinghs like that who could have been involved in the musicmaking and then try to contact them.I guess this is the last resort.

One last thing. If everything will fail. I can convert avi to mp3, cut it to get only scene with pirates. And then the difficult step. Do you know some good, high quality program, by which I can remove talking, fighting noises, etc. so I will get only music? :)

Or better choice, some program, which will listen the song, and will rebuild it bass by bass and note by note :) so I will have no work with removing voices etc.

I'm sorry but I don't know any program like this though it could exist but it would be a very particular and professional one.You have to ask to some sound-engineer.

Damn pal,you really like that music! [SM=g27828]
